SA Conveyor Belt

Open Conveyor belt mesh balanced spiral made by alternating spirals twisting to the left and to the right, with round or laminated wire, interconnected by pre-crimped bars (crossbars).

It is the most widely used Conveyor belt worldwide as it can be made in a wide variety of meshes and with different wire diameters. This versatility and its ease of installation and maintenance make it suitable to satisfy most of the needs in production processes.
It is linear and stable during operation mode and has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio.
The belt is moved by interference with the drive roller and can also be equipped with side chains. See SAC belt.
Some specifically calibrated meshes (with crossbar pitch: 5,08 – 6,35 – 8,46 – 12,7 and 19,05) can be also driven by sprockets (positive drive), thus reducing the winding diameters.

Applications

It is employed in most industrial processes where good airflow is required. Based on the type of material with which it is made, it can be used in both cold and humid environments and hot and dry ones, even at high temperatures.
